Common questions.
Send us a few details and, ideally, some photos of the area through our quote form. We'll review the job and get back to you to confirm the next step — no need for an in-person visit just to get started.
We work across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
Many bathrooms with tired grout or silicone can be restored without a full renovation. During your quote, we'll give you an honest view on whether restoration is the right fit, or whether your bathroom has issues beyond what regrouting and resealing can address.
Most shower jobs are completed within 2–5 hours. Larger or more involved jobs may take longer — we'll confirm timing after inspecting the area.
It depends on how the area is used. Epoxy costs more but resists staining and moisture better, which can suit high-use bathrooms. We're happy to talk through which makes sense for your space.
Not always. How much old grout can be removed depends on the tile type, grout condition and how the original installation was done. We'll assess this on site and explain what to expect.
Removing old grout carries some inherent risk of chipping, particularly where tiles or the existing installation are already weak or brittle. We use careful removal techniques to minimise this risk and will flag any concerns before starting.
Where possible, avoid using the shower or affected area for approximately 12 hours before scheduled work, so it's dry and ready when we arrive.
As a general guide, allow approximately 24 hours after completion, subject to the specific products used on your job — we'll confirm exact timing before we leave.

Surface regrouting and silicone work address the visible tile and joint finish. They are not a repair for failed waterproofing membranes, plumbing faults or structural movement. If we identify a deeper issue, we'll let you know before starting.
In most cases, yes. We'll talk through colour options during your quote so the finished result sits naturally against your existing tiles and fixtures.
Generally once it's showing mould that won't clean off, has started peeling or lifting, or looks discoloured despite regular cleaning — often the first thing in a bathroom to show its age.
